There are millions of polls. A lot of them questionable. Gallup, and Rasmussen of course, ranks among the most reliable. The latest Gallup poll has Romney up by six and above 50 percent. This is, from a purely statistical observation, important. “This is the first time that Romney has hit 50% in the Gallup likely voter poll and the president has never hit 50% in the likely voter poll. And no candidate who has led in mid-October with 50% or more in the likely voter poll has gone on to lose. Every one of them has gone on to win,” Karl Rove said on Fox News on Wednesday.
Update: Romney up by seven now in Gallup poll.
Update 2: Romney leads in RCPs Electoral Map for the first time.
